The greasiness of my husband's pillow is related to the strong secretion of scalp oil. The main reasons include the influence of male hormones, bad living habits, scalp inflammatory reaction, improper cleaning methods and genetic factors.
1. Hormone levels:

People with this type of constitution usually have thicker sebaceous gland ducts on the scalp, and the oil secreted by them is more likely to transfer to the surface of bedding to form oil spots.
To improve the oiliness of pillows, we need to start from multiple aspects: ensure 7 hours of sleep every day to help regulate hormone rhythms, and increase the intake of foods rich in B vitamins and Omega-3 such as oats and deep-sea fish.; Choose breathable pillowcases made of bamboo fiber or Tencel, change them at least twice a week and wash them at a temperature above 60°C. ; Carry out regular scalp exfoliation conditioning to avoid barrier damage caused by nail scratching.
